December 2018; Jessup, MD:
Another AXS console heads to a higher education facility, this time Anguilla Music Academy, located on the island of Anguilla in the central Caribbean. The sale of the 32 channel AXS was completed through Eusonia Studios in New York, founded by Scott Jacoby.
The studio at Anguilla Music Academy is a multi-room facility that will operate as a not-for-profit entity focused on teaching, and will serve the abundant local talent in the region, as well as top-level international talent. The facility will also house an annex of the Grammy Museum.
"Choosing a console is probably the single biggest decision in creating a recording studio," says Darius James, Founder of Anguilla Music Academy. "The API Legacy AXS was the easy choice for so many reasons. First of all, it's an API. In addition, it is a great console to learn on, and of course we love the API sound and the versatile functionality of the AXS. We are proud to be partnered with The Sheth Sangreal Foundation, Eusonia Enterprises, and our dear friends at API in the creation of this special place."
