Every May, the Nashville AES chapter puts on the Audio Masters Golf Tournament, held at the scenic Harpeth Hills golf course south of Nashville. Proceeds from the event and the accompanying auction go to the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund (NERF), which has aided many individuals and families in the local engineering community over the years.
This year API sponsored hole #16 at the tournament, held on May 22 and 23. API president Larry Droppa and Director of Sales Dan Zimbelman were present at the API tent providing grilled tenderloin sandwiches, cold drinks and lots of encouragement as the teams of golfers made their way around the course.
We encouraged golfers to drop their names into a container at our tent and each day we drew one lucky winner for an API lunchbox®.
Thursday's winner was Scott Phillips, Studio Manager at Blackbird Studio in Berry Hill.
Friday's winner was John Gholston, General Manager at Gear For Days in Nashville.
