Strange Weather's 48 channel 1608 saw many artists in the last few months. Their fully automated console is loaded with API 212s, and the studio additionally boasts two API 560s. Studio owner Marc Alan Goodman hosted the artists below, and worked with producer Frank London on a film score for a yet-unnamed project. Goodman got in touch with us for more detailed information on the activity at his Brooklyn-based studio: "Chris Shaw was in mixing the new Modest Mouse album, and my partner Daniel [Schlett] recorded and mixed Ghostface Killah's '36 Seasons' which came out in December. [Metal band] Liturgy tracked their new record which is yet to be released, and just this week we started work on the new album from Beirut." Mix Magazine additionally reports that guitarist/singer-songwriter Bombino (working with engineer Daniel Schlett) recorded at the studio.
