"I was already a huge API fan, but I couldn't quite afford a 1608. The format of The BOX fit perfectly in my studio. I already had 18 pres and lots of outboard, so the four additional pres were cool, but I really think The BOX exploded my studio's functionality in mixing—with two mix inserts, analog parallel compression options, 24 channels of analog summing (input channels and sends), inserts, and pan pots. Plus, I think the master section sounds incredible. I bought this console and haven't looked back. It's become such an invaluable mainstay in my studio. I can barely remember not having it."

"I would highly recommend The BOX. It sounds great, it makes sense, and it doesn't get in the way. What more could you want?"

"The versatility of the API 2500 is second to none. Whether you want to parallel compress your drum mix, smash a piano, or pump your 2-mix, this compressor is just waiting on you."
