Dungeon Recording is the brainchild of Fredric Freeman, a long-time engineer and user of API gear. It's dubbed as a studio that's "built by musicians for musicians". It's been a staple of the South Florida music scene for the last 16+ years.
"API is my go-to for preamps on all my drums, guitars (acoustic and electric), organ and piano. I love API preamps for their punch and clarity." Fredric is currently using his gear to work with Donna Allen, a vocalist from NBC's "The Voice", and negotiations are underway with a major label. "If she doesn't get a record deal, no one should. That's how talented she is."
Located in the heart of South Florida's music and film district, Dungeon Recording offers pristine recording quality for producers, engineers, and artists on an indie budget. The studio has housed multiplatinum producers including Ken Scott (The Beatles, David Bowie), Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Dashboard Confessional), Mark Hudson (Aerosmith, Ringo Starr, Ozzy Ozbourne), Andy Kravitz (Joan Osborne, Billy Joel, Sting), and countless others.
