API would like to shout out Kyle P. Snyder, Assistant Manager of the Duderstadt Audio Studios at University of Michigan, which is home to two API Vision consoles and a 1608. Snyder, who is also Governor of the Audio Engineering Society, recently visited our headquarters in Jessup, MD for factory training on API consoles.
"Every facility requires maintenance," says Snyder. "And ensuring that our staff is properly trained to service the most complex issues in coordination with [API Director of Service] Radovan and his team is key to keeping our facility running at peak-performance.
Snyder adds, "The Duderstadt Center resembles a lab more than it does other traditional or commercial facilities, and when the audio studios were originally designed, extreme care was put into the ergonomics of our underlying technology. By utilizing an analog core supported by API consoles, the facility is able to constantly evolve and support new technologies."
