This year producer Rob King celebrates 20 years in the music industry, and he got himself a studio remodel as an anniversary present. King's "steampunk sidecar", loaded with API modules, is housed at Green Street Studios where it has been getting a lot of attention since the remodel was completed. But if you only focus on the sidecar, you'll overlook all the attention to detail that went into the rest of the room. While Steampunk usually makes liberal use of discarded metal works and vintage factory odds and ends, King knew he needed more acoustics-friendly materials in his studio, so he called upon master wood craftsman Sid Sosa to protect and transform his studio into a sound-proof Steampunk wonderland.
