API has recently installed a 32 channel AXS console at Producer Michael Marquart's private recording facility in Virginia Beach.

Marquart is the President of Windmark Recording, a multi-room recording studio complex in Santa Monica, CA, and is well-known for his band A Bad Think and his tenure drumming for the band A Flock of Seagulls. Marquart touts an extensive list of production credits, having worked with some of the biggest names in music today, and he will continue to work with artists on his AXS console, which features prominently in his Virginia Beach studio.

"I have always been a big fan of API's mic pres and the 550A EQs," says Marquart. "Now I get all that and a lot more in a large format desk."
