While there are many 1608s in celebrated studios and recording facilities around the world, our most recent sale to a San Francisco client is so high-profile we're not even allowed to call them by name. What we can tell you is that API is honored that our console will help develop cutting-edge audio technology, and is perfectly at home in its new laboratory environment. While we were not given the license to make a lot of noise about this recent reduction in our console inventory, we're definitely proud that the 1608 is at home—and at work—in this state-of-the-art facility.
