Last week, API traveled to meet with SX Pro, one of our UK dealers. SX Pro presented an "API Night" with partner sponsor Amphion speakers, and featured legendary Producer, Engineer and Mixer Chris Kimsey. Kimsey was the recording engineer for Frampton Comes Alive!, co-produced the Rolling Stones' Undercover and Steel Wheels albums, and also worked as an engineer on Sticky Fingers. Other credits include work with Paul McCartney, Elton John, Yes, INXS and many more.

Mr. Kimsey brought along tracks of a project he's currently producing alllowing guests to hear directly from an industry powerhouse. They were also treated to seeing some API gear including the 2448, the BOX, and various modules in action. The event sold out and the packed venue an evening of music, demos, raffles, and to top it all off, a BOX console cake from SX Pro to help celebrate API's 50th birthday!
