It's not every day a school takes a field trip to API! Last week, API had the pleasure of hosting a group of electronics students from Glenelg Country School in Ellicott City, MD, who were lead on a factory tour by API President Larry Droppa.
Prior to the tour Mr. Droppa shared some insight about our increasingly electronic world and how, through innovation and dedication, API has remained an analog mainstay in the industry for 50 years. Students got a look into how API products are built and what roles API's various departments play in manufacturing the best possible quality equipment, including tireless testing and fine-tuning. Students also caught an eye-popping glimpse of some of the awards API has garnered and famous studios and artists that have worked with API gear.
We'd like to thank these Glenelg students for their visit and we hope we were able to inspire a few future engineers!
