Sarah Shook & the Disarmers recently tracked their latest album, Years, on Manifold Recording studio's 64 channel Vision console.
This is the group's sophomore album and their second album recorded at Manifold, as their debut record Sidelong was also tracked in the North Carolina studio. Years is proving to be just as much a success as the Disarmers' breakout record; the new album has received critical praise and its lead single, "Good as Gold," was recently selected as one of Rolling Stone's 10 Best Country and Americana Songs of the Week.
Manifold made the Vision console part of their studio back in 2010, with Manifold's Owner Michael Tiemann stating, "We chose the API Vision console because, quite frankly, it was the only one that remained true to the values that we established at the outset, while also having the power and flexibility we know we will need in the future."
Clearly, the Vision has served Manifold well as they have consistently recorded unique, daring, demanding and ultimately critically lauded projects over the past eight years.
