Well-known engineer, composer and musician Winicjusz Chróst is the latest Polish recording professional to base his studio workflow on the API 1608. After commissioning his console, Chróst says both his efficiency and creativity have seen marked improvements. Studio Chróst, located in Sulejowek, Poland, is one of the country's longest running recording facilities, and it is that longevity along with Chróst's hard-earned reputation that has brought the studio international recognition.

Chróst's console is equipped with API 500 Series modules, which maximize the trademark API sound he gets from the desk. "I chose the API 1608 console because of its sound" confirms Chróst. "The preamps, EQ, and dynamics sound great. The track sums are extremely impressive during mixes. Combined with a rich collection of microphones, analog equipment from renowned brands and my studio effects processors, the 1608 allows me to realize every project."
